Lessons in Lenormand: The Snake (7)

Bild
Hey there! Sorry for the delay. I wanted to update yesterday, but currently we are going through a heatwave and I personally am going through a bit of a rough patch health-wise. I will try to talk about the Lenormand card of the Snake a little bit now: Card number 7: The Snake This card can be interpreted in various ways. First, it can represent a wise, possibly older woman, somebody deeply spiritual and even psychic. They could very well be somebody who deals with what we are dealing with now (CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLE S~~!!!)... Yes, cartomancy and tarot can play a role here, but also other tools for divination and tapping into one's own intuitive powers - astrology, numerology, palmistry, rune casting, you name it. Many more, too, of course. In relationship readings, the Snake can also represent somebody who presents as a third party, especially when combined with the personifiers nearby and... Maybe also the Fox (14). Please note, however, that there are cards that would "...

Lessons in Lenormand: The Clouds (6)

Hey there! Today we will examine the Clouds... Not the ones you see in the sky right now, but the Lenormand card, of course :). You can see the card here: Card number 6: The Clouds As you can see here, one of the Clouds' sides is (mostly) light, like some kind of haze/fog that is being drawn to the ground, while the other side is dark. Think of rain clouds, for example, those who weigh heavy with water about to be poured down. Since those two are on opposing sides, they colour the cards neighbouring to the Clouds with interesting energy. You can imagine the card on the side to the light clouds/fog/haze to be not that clear (yet), but the topic of said card's coming towards the querent (unless other cards are making that card not have (much) impact on the querent). This can be both "good" and "bad", of course. With the Clover (2) lying next to the light side, for example, this can be interpreted as not being able to see the mundane luck for now, but said luck...

Lessons in Lenormand: The Tree (5)

'Ello everybody! :) Today, we will have a closer look at the Tree, the 5th card within the small game of the Lenormand deck. Judging the imagery, what do you think it could mean? If healthy, it grows, it has good roots, of course, and, even if it takes long, it DOES grow. Card number 5: The Tree If you understand where I am coming from, you are already on a good path towards grasping what it means... Health (both physical and mental), growth, but also, when it comes to time... It can take a while. Especially when asking about a time frame, and you get the Tree as the only card, it can mean, you will have to have patience and even stamina to get to the ultimate goal. If the Tree is placed next to the dark side of the Clouds (6), this means that worries are influencing your health, especially with a card like the Birds (12) closeby. Please take it easy, if you feel this to be the case. When close to the Clover (2), it can mean you (or the querent, of course) are overall healthy, beca...

Lessons in Lenormand: The House (4)

Bild
Welcome home, dear readers! Today we are dealing with a wonderful card. It is the "House", the 4th card within the Lenormand deck (or at least the "small game" of the Lenormand, which consists of 36 cards). Card number 4: The House The House symbolises the physical home where you live. If placed in a favourable position, it can give further information about what this home feels like to you, but also everybody around you. For example, the Lilies (30) is a card that stands for harmony and family. Ergo, the house is full of harmony. Sure, smaller conflicts can occur (especially when paired with the Whips (11), or the Birds (12)), but still if the Lilies are closeby, the overall harmonic home for you is represented here. If paired with "unfavourable" cards, even within the combination above (House + Lilies), there may be something that interferes with the harmony at home. Unfavourable cards might be the Mice (23), the Scythe (10), or maybe the Tower (19; in c...

Lessons in Lenormand: The Ship (3)

Sooo... How are you doing today? I hope you are ready for the next bit of my Lessons in Lenormand 😃. This week we are going to have a look at the Ship, the 3rd card of the Lenormand deck: Card number 3: The Ship The Ship generally symbolises traveling distances that are not possible to reach within a day's journey on foot. I once heard that it is a minimum of 50 kilometers (31.0686 miles, roughly...), but of course, the numbers can differ wherever you are. Think of places you can only reach by train, coach, or plane. Or, as the card already suggests, by ship. Anyways, if you or your querent's question revolved around maybe going to a different place, and this card shows up (with no cards telling you otherwise), you or they can be sure that the travel's going to happen. The Ship & the House (4) in combination can speak of a home far away, and especially when combined with the Stork (17), it can speak of relocating/moving to a different place (oftentimes in a different r...
