Lessons in Lenormand: The Clouds (6)

Hey there!

Today we will examine the Clouds... Not the ones you see in the sky right now, but the Lenormand card, of course :). You can see the card here:

Card number 6: The Clouds

As you can see here, one of the Clouds' sides is (mostly) light, like some kind of haze/fog that is being drawn to the ground, while the other side is dark. Think of rain clouds, for example, those who weigh heavy with water about to be poured down. Since those two are on opposing sides, they colour the cards neighbouring to the Clouds with interesting energy.

You can imagine the card on the side to the light clouds/fog/haze to be not that clear (yet), but the topic of said card's coming towards the querent (unless other cards are making that card not have (much) impact on the querent). This can be both "good" and "bad", of course. With the Clover (2) lying next to the light side, for example, this can be interpreted as not being able to see the mundane luck for now, but said luck is coming towards the querent. Maybe their mind is currently occupied with other thoughts (see the card on the opposite, darker side), too. With a card like the Whips (11) combined with the Scythe (10) and then the light side of the clouds, it looks like there is conflict on the horizon, though not really visible for now.

The other side, as in the darker side usually stands for sorrow, to say the least. If you have the Clover (2) here, you may be aware of mundane luck, but it doesn't make you happy per se. Maybe you are going through a time of feeling depressed, or something along those lines. This could also be combined with the Tree (5) in this position, though it can also mean sorrow about one's health in general. If the Whips (11) and Scythe (12) are next to the dark side of the Clouds, think of said conflict to be aware to the querent, but it does occupy one's mind a LOT, and there may be worries about and avoidance of further conflict.

Please note: The light and dark side are not always present on every card for the Clouds, and sometimes the sides are opposite of those in the card in the Blue Owl Lenormand deck. I would say, either go by your gut feeling when you have a more neutral Clouds card as to how to interpret it, OR go by the interpretation of "card representing the mind and mental health" altogether, and look at the surrounding cards. The same applies if you draw the Clouds as a single daily card... You can then ask yourself how you can take care of your mental health, and what occupies your mind the most. If you cannot think of anything, maybe there is something you don't know as of now, which will be entering your life very soon.
