What, who, where, why?

On my journey to where and who I am today, I unfortunately came across a lot of half-truths, if not downright urban legends and lies concerning how to read (tarot, lenormand, oracle) cards, how to interpret birth horoscopes, and various other spiritual practices. Are you allowed to read for yourself? Are you not allowed to purchase e. g. a tarot deck calling to you, and wait until it is gifted to you instead? How to shuffle the cards correctly? Should you read reversals? With astrology, are you mostly your sun sign? Or your rising and moon sign? Is there more to your personality than just the components I mentioned before? Are certain zodiac signs not trustworthy, or cold-hearted? I think you get the gist of what I am trying to say here.

In this blog, I will be teaching you what I have learned on my 30+ years journey through the world of spirituality, so hi! My name is Marina, and if one word could be used to describe me (There are more, of course!), it would be "curious". Not in the kind of way that I will be spying on my neighbours 24/7 and know all the gossip going around in town, because these topics just bore me to hell. But I am really curious about the world, the way its inhabitants perceive themselves, and how to help them get a clearer picture of what they are actually capable of.

You, as a reader, are more than welcome to ask all your questions in the comments, so that we can make sure we are on the same page. We will talk about all the things you need to do in order to be a great tarot reader, a great palm reader, a great astrologer, or even numerologer. I think we can both learn a lot from this. I will also show you how I am working with the lenormand cards, different systems of interpreting combinations of cards, and how to work with various oracle cards.

The decks I am using nowadays mainly are based on the Rider Waite Tarot, even though I first started reading tarot with a Crowley-based tarot deck. The above picture is showing my current favourite deck, the Everyday Witch Tarot by Deborah Blake and Elisabeth Alba, by the way. I also use the Universal Waite Tarot (Mine came with a book by Hajo Banzhaf.), my current favourite oracle decks are the Krafttier-Orakel by Jeanne Ruland, the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck by Kim Krans, and the Past-Life Energy Oracle by Sandra Anne Taylor. The lenormand deck I am personally using is the Blaue Eule Lenormandkarten. However, even if you do not feel like these specific decks are "calling" to you, I will give you tips on how to see which tarot, oracle, or lenormand deck(s) can work for you.

If there are more articles here already, you will surely be able to find your way around using the labels I created for this blog. Otherwise, if you want to stay here and there isn't much yet, would you want me to start with tarot or lenormand cards?

Either is possible, of course! Have a lovely rest of the day.
